Years to come…

Years to come…

Years to come, where would you be taken back?

For me, it’s now, right now…

Sweaty, marathon breastfeeding nights.
Cold coffee, emotion filled mornings.
Laughter, tears, no (solo) showers.
Chicken poop bare feet.
Funny, fleeting moments of romance.
The loving living chaos.
The trying to figure it all out.
The bickering because we care, so much, about everything — between our walls and the world outside — and trying to get the balance right.
Trying to find stillness too and allowing ourselves to enjoy, to open and close, remembering we are our little loves anchors. We are their havens, we are their cloud-like-spaces, their voice of reason, their chance of calm, their eye in the storm.

And what if we keep feeling like we are losing sight? We can keep trying to remember. We can take a breath and begin again. In any given moment we can drink in precious perspective…

Years to come, where would you be taken back?

So, let’s breathe it in and breathe it out. Look (really see) what’s in front of us, even if it’s a (beautiful) mess.

Love to this season xx
